ECM has consolidated its Western Australian operations in December 2015 with a move to a new facility at the Australian Marine Complex in Henderson, south of Perth.

The company previously had its head office in Canning Vale and a separate fabrication facility operating in Kwinana.

“The move to Henderson creates efficiencies across our WA operations enabling us to enhance our value proposition to clients across our target markets,’ said Patrick O’Boyle, ECM’s GM Corporate Development.

“The renewed focus on asset optimisation from clients across all markets means service providers must provide lean and cost competitive solutions without compromising safety, quality or productivity.

“Consolidating operations is one of the many ways ECM has adapted to dynamic market conditions and created value which can ultimately be passed through to our clients,” he said.

ECM is Australia’s leading and one of its largest electrical and instrumentation (E&I) contractors, with a complementary fabrication business which forms part of the company’s integrated Services division.

Mr O’Boyle said ECM’s business philosophy remained focused on building strong relationships with clients and then consistently delivering on the expectations of those clients with a big focus on safety.

“Over the past 30 years, ECM has built and maintained a portfolio of clients across mining, oil and gas, infrastructure and power generation sectors,” he said.

“A commitment to safety underpins our operations.  In January this year, we were pleased to pass 5,000,000 man-hours LTI free – a significant achievement that indicates how safety is an embedded part of our company culture”

Founded in 1986, ECM is a leading construction and maintenance company servicing clients in the mining, oil and gas, infrastructure and power generation sectors.

The company has operational hubs in Perth (Henderson) and Port Hedland, Adelaide (Thebarton) and Brisbane (Murarrie).
