The newly formed Goodline – EC&M Joint Venture (G-ECMJV) has been awarded two major projects in WA’s North West.
The Goodline – EC&M Joint Venture is a strategic alliance bringing together the proven project experience of two of Australia’s premier, privately owned, niche resources contractors: Goodline and Electrical Construction and Maintenance (EC&M) Pty Ltd.
Over the past 2 years Goodline and EC&M have worked successfully together to construct the vast majority of the Fortescue Metals Group Point Anderson Port Facility in Port Hedland and the G-ECMJV is an extension of that successful relationship.
The G-ECMJV has been awarded the Structural, Mechanical, Piping,Electrical and Instrumentation Package for the Utah Point Berth Project in Port Hedland for the Port Hedland Port Authority. This significant package in conjunction with a ship loader assembly package for the same project and a common services infrastructure package for Citic Pacific’s Sino Iron Project represents around $80 million in new work for the G-ECMJV.
"Over the past 12 months the market has demanded that companies diversify and add value to projects by covering greater scope under fewer contracts. Very few organisations are specialist across all aspects of a project, the G-ECMJV offers a single point solution to address that issue"
